Crescat Blog's Katrina Fernandez denied Communion on the tongue at her Gramma's funeral

Friends :-(  you can read about it here....abbey-roads version  .  She and Terry Nelson, of Abbey-roads blog, are doing a great job of exposing this incident, along with this same parish's denial of last rites to her grandmother---because the same priest had farmed out this duty to lay people.

I'm afraid cases of clericalism, pastors who like to lord it over their  ignorant sheep, are on the rise

I don't think either Katrina nor Terry would chalk this up to one more manifestation of the 'Francis effect', but I am kind of feeling that it is.
