From Sunday's Gospel....

"And behold there came a man whose name was Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at the feet of Jesus, beseeching him that he would come into his house: "
It was difficult to find this illustration. It comes from "David C. Cook's" graphic art New Testament. Google image couldn't find it. Hopefully now it can. As always K. C. is trying to make the point that when people say they don't like kneeling because it means "thus and such" [fill in the blank. _____ usually what they don't like is penance] ....they are just plain wrong!
Kneeling means quite a number of other things as well: gratefulness, surrender, worship, humility, just being plain awe-struck, and on and on. K. C. sees the importance of kneeling as its intensity, its exclamation point!!!
"Lord Jesus, I need you! Now!!"
